The MARC organizes the Ethics and Anthropology Seminar in the 2023-2024 academic year.

The Ethics and Anthropology Seminar, coordinated by Dr. Fernando Vidal and Dr. Blanca Deusdad, will address the ethical problems and challenges of anthropological and ethnographic work throughout the 2023-2024 academic year. The aim is to address these controversies based on the research experience of the speakers.

The presentations and debates will address topics ranging from the topics that are analyzed in the ethics committees of the institutions to the relationships with the groups under study. Likewise, the rights and obligations of the parties involved in the investigative process will be included.

The sessions will feature presentations by researchers Fernando Vidal (ICREA/URV), Viripi Tomonen (University of Helsinki), Sam Fernández Garrido (University of Granada), María Isabel Jociles (Complutense University of Madrid), José Luis Molina (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), Nofit Itzhak (URV).
