MARC will hold a seminar on Global Mental Health

The Medical Anthropology Research Center (MARC), together with the International Center for Ethnobotanical Education, Research and Service (ICEERS), the Department of Anthropology, Philosophy and Social Work (Dafits) and the Doctorate in Anthropology and Communication, will start the Tuesday cycle in January Seminar on Global Mental Health.

The initial session will take place on January 18 at five in the afternoon through the Microsft Teams platform. The central theme of the exchange is Global Mental Health, the right to science and psychoactive plants. The article "Perspective Traditional Healing Practices Involving Psychoactive Plants and the Global Mental Health Agenda: Opportunities, Pitfalls, and Challenges in the" Right to Science "Framework", by researchers José Carlos Bouso and Constanza Sánchez-Avilés will be the starting point for the debate.
