Presentation of the report of the project "Elderly and Dependent Care (CuMaDe)"
The results report of the project "Care Matters. Gender impact on caregivers of the elderly and dependents in times of Covid-19 ", coordinated by Dolors Comas d`Argemir, Professor of Anthropology at the Rovira i Virgili University, will be presented this Thursday, December 16 at 6:00 p.m. in the Thirteen Roses Room of the Madrid CCOO Headquarters.
The research analyzes the impact of the health crisis caused by Covid-19 on caregivers of elderly and dependent people, both in the family and community, and in the occupational care sector.
In addition to reflecting the difficulties in dealing with the health crisis, the initiative also aims to show the ways of dealing with it from creativity, empowerment and solidarity.
Researchers from the Rovira i Virgili University, the University of Barcelona, ??the University of Castilla-La Mancha, the Complutense University of Madrid, the University of Da Coruña, the University of the Basque Country / Euskal Herriko Universitatea, the University Murcia, Granada, the University of Valencia and the University of Zaragoza.
