University Publishing Award for MARC Researchers Text
The book RESET: Reflexiones antropológicas ante la pandemia de COVID-19, edited by MARC members Angel Martínez-Hernáez and Stella Evangelidou, received the National Prize for University Edition 2021 in the section for Best Monograph in Health Sciences, delivered by the Union of Spanish University Publishers.
The text, belonging to the URV Publications Medical Anthropology Collection, deserved such recognition because, according to the jury, "it reflects the university's involvement in the fight against the pandemic, not only in its scientific dimension but also in its humanitarian aspect."
Readers will be able to find in this volume 48 reflections elaborated during the peak of the pandemic, between April 14 and May 11, 2020, in different countries and in which the term reset is used as an expression of the feeling of reboot. or stand-by experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
